The very simple meaning of paper trading is that trading is to be done but on paper means to look at the stock and to guess that it will be called a stock.

What exactly happens in paper trading, I will tell you, when the trader knows a little about the lion market, then he feels very much that he should do trading but is afraid of putting real money in the market, then for the time being  Paper trading means that he does trading but not with real money but with fake money o if in whatever stock he saw that the price of a stock is going to increase then o write the price of that stock in a paper (which paper  At what price was the stock, then I should have bought it o writing the price is called paper trading.) And kush sees after time whether the price has increased or not, if the price rises, then instead of being kush, he will be sad that I have real money Why did not put it in the market and if the price of the stock falls, then instead of being sad, it will be reversed that it happened that I did not put real money in the market paper trading is one type of trading with virtual money in u expect stock goes which direction.

I do not prefer paper trading by my personal experience but beginners should try 2 or 3 times paper trading before entering the real market.

when trader know some market knowledge and think to trade but afraid with real money then he doing some paper trading.

and price gone rally up then he not happy but he sad because think why I am not trading with real money and price gone down then he happy because he thinks this is not real money !

in real trading traders not got emotional either profit or loss. this reason I ignore paper trading personally but u  do paper trading some little time before entering in real money trading.
